Student Council

The WTL Student Leadership Team (Student Council) is a group of 3rd-5th-grade student leaders who meet twelve times a school year with the student leadership advisor.  The student members of this team are selected to represent the school based on their demonstrated leadership qualities and staff nominations.  During monthly meetings, the student leadership team organizes school-wide events and fundraisers such as the Sweetheart Dance in February and the food drive in December. The funds and items collected by the Student Leadership Team go towards scholarships, school projects, holiday help/assistance, special staff recognition (teacher appreciation week), school-wide celebrations, and donations for our families in need within our school community.

Additionally, the WTL student leadership members are expected to constantly demonstrate Portrait of a Baron (POB) qualities and school-wide expectations of being safe, responsible, and respectful at school, home, and in the community.
