The Spring program (and hopefully warmer weather) will be here before we know it.  All fourth and fifth grade students will sing with their classes during the program on April 24 at 6:30 p.m.  Additionally, students have the opportunity to audition for a speaking part in the program.  Weather permitting, the first round of speaking parts will be held during music classes  on the following days:
     February 27 – Mrs. Weimer’s 5th grade, Mrs. Caudill’s 4th grade          March 4 – Mrs. Kever’s 4th/5th grades

Remember, this is an optional activity.  Students who are interested in showcasing their dramatic abilities will need to pick up an audition script from the music room as well as turn in a form before their class’s audition day.

Students who do well during their class auditions will be notified with a letter from Mrs. Snyder and asked to stay after school on March 11 3:30-4:20.  During our first afterschool practice, the roles will be finalized.  Your child will not receive a finalized practice schedule until the roles have been assigned because some students will not have to come to every afterschool practice.  However, the practice dates are listed below for your reference.

If your child is chosen for a speaking part, he or she will be expected to practice after school 3:30-4:20 on Tuesdays as we prepare for the show on April 24.  The first after school practice will be on Tuesday March 11.
